The Sakıp Sabancı Museum
presents a new I-Phone application to its visitors. The Museum that frequently uses technology in its exhibitions aims at enabling the visitors to access all kinds of information about the museum via their I-Phones.
Featuring a user-friendly and simple interface, the application makes it possible to access details and visuals about the on-going exhibitions and permanent collections at the museum. Through the “Information” section, the users are also able to find information about latest developments about the museum, the archive of news bulletins, opening hours, entrance fees, the museum restaurant “MüzedeChanga” and the museum store. One of the first private museums in Turkey to develop its own I-Phone application, the SSM has also integrated a Google Maps support into this new service, which identifies the present location of the visitor and provides directions to the museum.
