How to Get Here

Ramps and lifts in all the galleries facilitate access for the disabled. Wheelchairs are available by calling the museum one day in advance of the visit.

Directions to the SSM 

Access By Boat
Transport by sea varies according to the season. There are boat services to İstinye, Kanlıca, Kandilli, Anadoluhisarı, Bebek, Arnavutköy and Çengelköy from the Emirgan Quay, located at a five-minute walk from the Museum. There are sea bus services to Beşiktaş and Kadıköy from the İstinye sea bus quay, which is a 25-minute walk or 10 minute bus ride from the Museum. Access By Land
The nearest bus stop is at Emirgan-Çınaraltı on the shore road. The following buses serve this stop regularly:

40T    Taksim  - İstinye Dereiçi

There are buses to Mecidiyeköy and minibuses to the 4. Levent Metro station from İstinye Bayırı junction, a 15-minute walk from the museum.

Parking
The museum car park is restricted to 30 vehicles. No vehicles are admitted through the main gate when the car park is full. At such times it is possible to park Ispark spaces along the main shore road.
