My Father and I Set Sail

Sabancı University Sakıp Sabancı Museum (SSM), with the sponsorship of Faber-Castell, will present on Sunday, 21 June in honor of Father’s Day a special workshop entitled “My Father and I Set Sail”. On this special occasion, children who wish to give their fathers a special and lasting gift can spend a few pleasant hours full of dreams, art and sharing together with their fathers. Within the scope of the activity, the children will first tour the exhibitions “Voyage to the West – the 70 Year Adventure of Turkish Painting” and “Lisbon, Memories from another City” introducing the work of Ottoman and Portugese painters, and then proceed with their fathers to the studio, where they will produce together a 3-dimensional model of the sailing ship of their dreams.
